I think every New Yorker can relate to a time when the MTA trains "fell their hand" - a time when you needed the train to get you somewhere ASAP, only to end up getting to your desired location WAAAYYY LATER because of train delay by dispatcher, a sick passenger, construction etc. Last Thursday, I had one of these experiences.... I met up with one of my friends for drinks after work. Between the wine and AWESOME conversation, time seem to fly by. Before I knew it, it was late (I already missed Scandal) so it was time to go home. I had to pee... like really … [Read more...]

Hey People, I hope all is well. My mother sent me this story. I loved it so much so I decided to share.... Enjoy... An American man walked into a restaurant in London. Enjoy! When Mahatma Gandhi was studying law at the University College of London, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely and always displayed prejudice and animosity towards him.. Also, because Gandhi never … [Read more...]

My regular trainer is completing his forth level black belt something something (I wasn't listening to him when he explained the training because I was wondering why he didn't consider me when he was making these plans) and this new class instructor is a different kind of ogbanje (evil spirit). So yea, class was a struggle. I was sooo uncoordinated! ?? I've been training … [Read more...]
