Okay so on the train ride to work this morning, there was an African-American lady telling an acquaintance about how Trump did her proud last night. To said something along the lines of “Trump was right. She’s been doing this for 30 years and everything is a mess. He’s right. He showed up prepared for her!”
*Sigh* It is moments like this morning that I thank God for my mother (Lord knows I definitely would’ve gone H.A.M on her if I came from any other woman).
So my people, today I have no gist, long story or sermon. All I have is a question, HAVE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE FOR HILARY CLINTON? The US Presidential Debate last night was really scary to watch. The NYT also did an amazing job fact-checking the policies and records presented by both candidates (click here).
It started off funny – my friends and I drank every time we heard the words Mexico, China and Taxes – but as the event progressed; it dawned on everyone that this wasn’t some silly skit on SNL. To quote my niece “this is for real life.”
What’s even scarier is the realization that there are millions of registered votes, who share the same sentiments as that anti-christ, goat, idiot, lady on the train this morning. So this election can go either way.
We have a chance to literally shape the condition of the world this November 8th. So please, you have haven’t done so already, go and register to vote for Hilary Clinton. We can’t let that other guy win.

Interesting… Oby the campaign chief. But on a serious note, you guys should vote for the right person. Some folks that voted for the current president of Nigeria never envisaged what was coming… they all are regretting such move but silently. VOTE WISELY!!!

Nne nne so it is very clear where you stand! This is the first time since I have known something where making fun of the other party become the normal debate. I will surely vote. Though I stand that God knows all and in God do I trust regardless of who becomes president. Some one asked me if I watched, I honesty did not. I have already made up my mind. Though people speak a good intentions reality of what happens is so different.
I won’t lie, my intentions were not pure. I watched it because I know it’d be a spectacle and I didn’t want to carry last on good gist. But as the debate went on, it dawned on me that there is a chance that man can win. Either way, we will survive but I rather enjoy life, not just survive it.
I need to vote????
