Happy Tuesday loves and Barka de Sallah to my Islamic Friends!
Whether you are enjoying the 4-day weekend in Naija (I’m not jealous) or officially in full work week mode, I trust you are well.
Okay so, last night, I went to church for evening mass. I hadn’t been to church after work all summer but now that my August Visitors have left (Love you ?) I’m trying to get back into “my normal”. Before I share how mass went, allow me to digress….
A few nights ago, I called an ole friend to check in and he sounded defeated. He launched his business earlier in the year and had just found out that he didn’t get a deal he’d been pursuing for months. He told me “I’ve been working so hard! It’s already September O-Cheeks and still nothing!”
To add to that, catching up with another dear friend last weekend, she went on and on about how people keep getting engaged. She said she was really hoping that 2016 would be different. “It’s already September and I still haven’t met anyone husband worthy #$%^!!!!”
I tried my best to be as encouraging as possible but I don’t think my words got very far. Thankfully, I serve a living God that STAYS equipping me with ammunition to DISTURB MY PEOPLE TO GREATNESS.
Anyways, last night, the gospel was about the Centurion who went to Jesus about his sick servant. During the homily the Priest reminded us of how powerful the Centurion was at the time and as such, must have sort/tired every treatment there was to cure his servant before he went to Jesus. But even with everything else failing, he still went to Jesus with Faith saying “Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.”
If you are reading this and are like my people that have given up on 2016, please remember it is ONLY September. Not “already” but “only.” We still have a few months to make this year a phenomenal one.
Let us Inspire God to bless us.
Pick yourself up, remember everything you asked God for this year and give praises for it. Ask God to use this story of the Centurion as a reference to Say the Word and my *insert Problem/Wish/Desire* will be Solved/Achieved. Then smile and walk like the royalty you are believe that has happened.
May God rejuvenate our faith, that we may be worthy to receive the Blessings He placed in our hearts this 2016, in Jesus name, Amen! It is well loves ?
Thank you for reading!
Love Always,

WHAT ENCOURAGING WORDS to start a new month. I won’t lie. Last week Tuesday after the school year started I cried the whole day. WHy? Cause i was not on top of my prayer games the days before. As God would allow it, I went to a prayer session for the school year at church and WEPT. Then spoke to my BF that night and continued to WEEP. BF said STOP IT and start counting my blessings. That the cup is always HALF FULL. SO no matter how this year finishes I will be grateful for half full glass. I pray to keep on praying and counting my blessing with my HALF FULL CUP. God wins
