Happy September Friends! To my stateside people – I hope you had a great long weekend. To everyone else, I trust you’ve been great. To everyone, may September 2016 be your most fulfilling month yet (say amen!) lol. Okay so last Wednesday, a dear friend of mine (hey Chris) invited me to an event at Rebecca Minkoff’s store in SoHo. Happy Tuesday Everybody! I hope you had an amazing weekend and are having a great week thus far! Okay so, I was playing catch-up on my favorite author's blog when I came across the following story: "Sometimes we get used to what we see in the movies and end up forgetting the true story," a friend said to me once we were looking at the port of Miami, "Do you remember the Ten Commandments?" So the waiter collected the money from the man and began serving free food to everyone in the restaurant, except the African. However, instead of becoming … [Read more...]

Okay so, I logged into my personal instagram page last weekend and when I did, that was the first photo I saw. When I saw it, I cringed. Maybe it was because I once invested time in a man who never saw himself with me. Or maybe it was because I know others who have experienced this also. Whatever the reason, the photo rubbed me off the wrong way. Then I read the comments… There were a lot of “LOL”s, … [Read more...]
