Happy 2015 Beautiful people!
May what was your ceiling in 2014 become your floor in 2015, in Jesus name, Amen!!
Okay so, after 3 weeks of not going to the gym (hey, I was on Christmas break), I went back in full force. At my gym, there were some changes made this 2015 that I am still trying to come to terms with.
Example: In addition to increasing membership fees, the time for my Monday aerobics class was increased from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Please note – I BARELY survived the 30 minutes classes. So I did not find the extra 15 minutes funny at all. 2 classes in, you would think I would have gotten the hang of it by now abi? OF COURSE NOT!
In class today, my workout instructor said since it is a New Year, it was time for me to move from 2kg weights to 7kg. Because I didn’t want to ‘carry last’, I took 7kg weights and told her to “bring it on”. She also told us to set up the step platforms (a.k.a workout steps) since I was so enthusiastic. So I did.
47 minutes later, I told my instructor, I pray she gets a new job, showered and came back to work. Ever since then I’ve been so uncomfortable. Everything/where HURTS. I can’t even laugh.
I reached out to my second sister (after all, its her fault I started working out to begin with). After whining about my lunch break at the gym, my body aches and “I didn’t even drink water” (because I forgot my water bottle), all she could say was “wait, you drink water during your workouts?”
This lead to a crazy debate with my other sisters and now my question to you – Do you drink water during your workouts?
I know I could always just “ask Google” what to do but I am more interested in what people in real life do. Why? Because:
- If more of you do, it will make me feel better about myself and I can run back and tell my sisters.
- If most of you do not, I will then “ask Google” and let you all know the best way to go. So please, pray tell.
Thank you for reading!
Love always

Personally, Depends on the intensity of the class. The harder the class the more hydration is necessary.
